of prints and drawings for sale. Most prints listed in our catalogue are described
in
the latest
refererence from the specific catalogue raisonné. The abreviation IFF
corresponds to the reference of the Inventaire du Fonds Français du Cabinet des
Estampes de la Bibliothèque Nationale.
DESCRIPTION
Measurements are in millimeters and /or centimeters, height first,
the width after. For prints, the measurement are those of the composition ; the
measurement between brackets correspond to the full sheet.For drawings and watercolors,
the measures are those of the the sheet of paper.
CONSERVATION Prints and drawings are generally in good or excellent
condition. If this is not the case, we point out minor defects such as staining,
moisture marks or dust traces. If the piece has been restored we mention it. In
all cases, we try to give the most detailed description possible of the state
of conservation.
PRINTING Mentions

bonne, belle, superbe épreuve used in the reviews indicate the degree
of the printing quality.
Bonne means normal,
belle refers to a particularly
luminous and contrasted printing ;
superbe is used for an exceptionnal
print.
